Gattorosso 2022 Toscana IGT
Loro Ciuffenna, Arezzo
Gattorosso is a snapshot of the foothills: grapes from vineyards located at the foot of Pratomagno and represents Daniele and Barbara's idea of the traditional wine, which was meant to be fresh, crisp and great drinking.
As grapes are used: Sangiovese predominantly, then Malvasia Nera, Canaiolo, Ciliegiolo and a small balance of Trebbiano Toscano and Malvasia Bianca, all from different plots and terraces located at about 300 mt/slm.
Sagona
The farm was established in March 2012 by Daniele Corrotti and is located at 500 meters above sea level on the slopes of the Pratomagno massif, in the province of Arezzo. Cultivation is organic. The land is all leased: small peasant farms organized according to subsistence farming: olive trees, vegetable garden, arable land and fruit trees are often found alongside the vineyards. A small corner of paradise in the wildest “minor” Tuscany.
