A powerful wine and a very tough varietal, so much so that this wine ages for at least 3 years in bottle before entering the market. In all this time (added to the 12 months in chestnut tonneaux) the wine evolves in complexity and length.

An intense red from a 3-hectare vineyard now 100 years old (year 1922) at 600 meters on Mount Pollino, in the mouth it expresses itself with rich notes of cherry jam and spices, from black pepper to clove, a strength that is not impetuosity, the long aging in fact refines the sensations and makes them more ethereal.
