Long Courrier Rouge represents the "grande cuvée" from Laura Aillaud's domaine, located in La Tour-d’Aigues, in the heart of the Luberon.

The 2022 vintage is the result of a masterful blend from old vines (some over 50 years old) of Counoise, Cinsault, Carignan, and Cabernet Sauvignon.

On the palate, it stands out for its balance between depth and mineral freshness: an intense bouquet featuring notes of dark fruits, blackberry, cassis, and a spicy hint of liquorice. It reveals itself as structured yet velvety, with a vibrant energy that makes it a "flavor bomb," capable of evolving superbly over time. This red wine seamlessly combines the maturity of Southern France with an elegant and refined drinkability.

From the producer

Laura Aillaud

Laura Aillaud is currently one of the most interesting and respected winemakers in the Luberon. Hers is a beautiful story, involving a life change dictated by deep passion. A talented sommelier, she chose to leave the restaurant industry to dedicate herself to wine production and agricultural life."

"Her turning point came in 2017, the year she settled in La Tour d'Aigues, a very interesting area where the vineyards of Provence meet those of the Rhône Valley. After obtaining a degree in viticulture and oenology, Laura refined her craft by working alongside some of the most prominent natural wine producers, such as Jean-Christophe Comor of Les Terres Promises, gaining profound experience in organic vineyard management and a minimal-intervention approach in the cellar. Today, she diligently manages about 5 hectares of vineyard, paying almost maniacal attention to soil health, which is rarely ploughed and, when necessary, only with the use of a horse, so as not to disturb the ecosystem and the vitality of the earth.
