Scandelara Rosato Vino Rosato
Pianoro, Bologna
Barbera and Grechetto Gentile (pignoletto) harvested together. Arriving at the winery, the grapes are destemmed and after a short maceration are crushed and allowed to finish fermenting in steel.
The characteristics of Barbera and Pignoletto go together to balance each other: one brings the necessary acidity and aromas, the other the structure and tannin.
"The wine achieves its balance right from the start, the wood then serves to amalgamate it all."
500 bottles produced.

Scandelara
Scandelara is a project born from the Castel Arienti farm, founded in the 1980s and located in the Pianoro area of the Bolognese hills. This 52-hectare estate features wooded areas, two small lakes, grazing meadows, a small section of arable land, and two vineyards totaling 3.5 hectares. The young owner, Mattia Donini, after studying oenology and gaining experience in some of the world's most important wine regions (including Argentina, New Zealand, and Burgundy), decided to return home to give the estate a new direction and offer his own wines. So far, it's a gamble that has undeniably paid off!
