A great sparkling rosé made from Barbera and Bonarda grapes using the ‘salasso’ technique.

Spontaneous fermentation in steel that stops with the first winter cold. It remains on the fine lees then in spring it is bottled without any filtration and with the seasonal rise in temperature the yeasts are reactivated and fermentation starts again. The residual sugars are transformed into carbon dioxide that creates a very delicate and intriguing bubble.

Rosissima is a sexy snack wine with immoderate drinking power, try it to believe!

The charm of ancient Terroir

My father Emilio was born in 1943 in Lugagnano, Val d'Arda, and followed his family to this property, in the hills of Carpaneto Piacentino, when he was five years old. Of the six siblings, he is the one who has always stayed here, to continue with my mother the business that used to belong to my grandfather and grandmother.

We have always made wine, which we used to sell first in demijohns and then in bottles, but ours has never been a wine-growing business: until the 1990s my parents had a stable with dairy cows, and in the fields we grew cereals and fodder to feed the animals.

In 2006, when we renovated the premises that house the winery, a generational change also started and I joined my parents: since that year, for the first time, the label of our wines shows the small farming village that my family has been taking care of for almost eighty years.
