Domaine Sylvain Pataille's emblematic Marsannay vintage comes from old Chardonnay vineyards planted on the various chalky terroirs in village appellations. The expression of this sublime terroir is also revealed through long aging "sur lies" in oak barrels. The nose reveals delicious notes of fresh honey, chalk, ripe fruit with a hint of spicy note. The palate is full and fleshy with nectarine and green apple aromas and is complemented by a mineral framework that creates an incredible saline finish.
