Beautiful Chardonnay from the south-facing “Les Trouillots” vineyard planted in 1980 in a mix of gray marl and limestone scree.

Chardonnay has been unfairly labeled: buttery, woody, etc. Valentin Morel makes a delicious version of Chardonnay in typical Jurassic style, away from overly buttery and vanilla flavors and centered on mineral and savory notes typical of the variety. The terroir lends an acidic backbone that begs for the next sip. Elegance and eccentricity with extraordinary finesse and precision.

Les Pieds Sur Terre - Valentin Morel

Les Pieds Sur Terre nasce nel 2014 quando Valentin Morel, laureato in legge e funzionario della prefettura, decide di tornare alle sue origini contadine subentrando al padre Jean-Luc nella gestione dell’azinenda. Siamo a Poligny, nella splendida regione dello Jura. Durante i suoi studi Valentin ha avuto modo di venire in contatto con il pensiero di Rudolf Steiner rimanendone affascinato, tanto da convertire immediatamente il domaine alla biodinamica.
