Producer: Icaro
Bellissimo Vino Bianco
Genzano, Roma
As far as we’re concerned, the name of this wine is no coincidence: "Bellissimo" (Beautiful) is a manifesto of simplicity and honesty. Enough with the false modesty—when you work hard and create a top-tier product, you have to admit it.
The name "Bellissimo" isn't just an adjective; it’s a declaration of love for a historic vineyard that convinced the producers to "become reckless" and embark on this natural wine adventure. Their philosophy is anti-elitist: they want wine to return to being a popular, direct, and sincere pleasure, far removed from excessive technicalities. It is a wine that helps us rediscover the true convivial purpose of this drink!
It is a blend of Bellone, Malvasia di Candia, and Trebbiano. Depending on the vintage, the grapes remain in contact with the must for several days in stainless steel or fiberglass tanks.
Expect notes of citrus, aromatic herbs, and a distinct smoky touch. Ciao!
