Rosso di Sassopra is 100% Sangiovese. The choice in this case to leave the grapes whole cluster and the short maceration, return in the glass an atypical Sangiovese especially if we take the Tuscan one as a reference.

Light tannin, fruit flavors where cherry and currant stand out, a light smoky note and that savoriness of the volcanic soil that also seems to emerge in this wine with great strength.

Very pretty wine, a very fresh interpretation of this grape!

Sassopra è un'avventura che parte da lontano, ma che vede un punto fermo nel 2020 quando Marta e Federico prendono 5 ha di vigna nella zona sud di Frascati. Passione viscerale il vino per loro, ci sono nati e cresciuti tra le vigne, Sassopra è una storia nuovissima un progetto che sposiamo in pieno.
