Milan is a mad lover of Blaufrankisch, so much so that he has dedicated many different labels to this variety that correspond to vinifications and experiments that have been added to the winery's beautiful range over the years. Post-modern is a kind of synthesis in which several vintages (from 2016 to 2022) have come together in one wine. Simple vinification with spontaneous fermentations in open steel tanks and aging in old barriques and 400-liter barrels. These barrels come from Milan's personal collection, which he wanted to play with in finding an unusual and highly successful balance.

"I wanted to create a friendly and energetic Blaufränkisch to drink every day (not a ‘big’ one, for that we have JIL ), a good and not simple but very accessible wine. Milan Nestarec

The farm is located in the picturesque landscape of South Moravia. Among dirt roads, rural hamlets and ancient abbeys. Here, space is found for 94% of all the hectares under vine in the Czech Republic. The predominantly flat soils, which occasionally give way to slight undulations, and a continental climate, characterized by cool, rainy summers and dry, cold winters, make the area more than conducive to viticulture.

It all started in 2001 when Milan's father planted 8 hectares of vines in the two wine-growing municipalities-Moravský Žižkov and Velké Bílovice. Milan studied enology with Aleš Kristančič of Movia with whom he learned a lot about the delicate art of making white wines fermented on skins.
