From the Poggio della Bruna vineyard, one of the winery's two Cru, this 100% Sangiovese is harvested after careful selection in the vineyard. It ferments spontaneously and is aged in old oak barrels.
The taste is characterized by lots of pure red fruit, with notes of strawberry and plum, more complex hints such as black pepper, tobacco and spice, and soft tannins. Character is revealed through dominant and rich tannins, excellent body d exceptional acidity. A sip of the highest quality.

We are in Tuscany, in the hills surrounding Florence, about 15 kilometers from the city in a southwesterly direction, in a hamlet of just a few houses called Vigliano. We are a stone's throw from the Church of San Martino alla Palma on one side and bordering the beautiful Bosco della Roveta on the other.
We are in the Chianti Colli Fiorentini area, in soils extraordinarily suited to the cultivation of vines and olive trees. Stony, well exposed to the west-southwest, they have a decidedly alkaline nature and a very varied composition, with a strong presence of limestone, mixed with marl, sand and traces of loose clay. The average slope is considerable, about 17%, with even significantly higher peaks. In summer and autumn the day-night temperature range is noticeable, as is the presence of constant air currents.
