Vinification: the grapes are destemmed and placed in 30 hl truncated oak vats where they remain for about 20 days during which part of the spontaneous fermentation takes place in contact with the skins

Aging: in 20 hl oak barrels and a small part in 700l tonneaux, for about 12/13 months and then 3 months in bottle

Serving temperature: 16-18° C

Francesco is a Venetian who fell so in love with Barbera that he moved to Piedmont to make wine from it. So many interpretations for so many "versions," with the belief that this grape variety has endless potential, especially in this area of Piedmont!

Acrù is a powerful red with an important profile. On the palate the wine is broad and elegant.

On the palate a beautiful fruity correspondence of ripe cherry and raspberry, spicy with a long finish of dehydrated plum and a pleasant hint of anise. As soon as it is uncorked we are surprised by a slight CO2, revealing a warm and round body, soft tannin that integrates well with the acidity and alcohol content of the wine.

Tenuta Foresto

Tenuta Foresto is a young Piedmontese reality born in the winter of 2016/2017, when a semi-abandoned farmhouse was taken over. In this wonderful place, the vineyards had not been intensively farmed for many years, the perfect condition to start the project.
