"It’s an easy and straightforward Montepulciano rosé.

We believe it’s the best expression of this grape variety, as it remains fresher, juicier, and fruitier, while maintaining excellent acidity.

Decades ago, this rosé style was also the most widespread method of processing Montepulciano in Abruzzo, serving as the "energy drink" for our farmers working in the fields. Later, due to market changes, many wineries began producing Montepulciano that was more alcoholic, tannic, and robust, creating a "new standard" for this variety that, as you can imagine, is not the style we prefer."

"Lammidia is our personal project, started from scratch, by us; it was not a family business, we did not own vineyards or land before.
