The "Afrodite Rosa" 2024 by Casa Giachi is the more "serious" and structured version of the rosés produced by Francesco Giachi. While the "Chill" focuses on the lightheartedness of Ciliegiolo, the Afrodite celebrates the nobility of Sangiovese in purezza (100% Sangiovese), interpreted with the winery's customary artisanal philosophy.

The grapes come from vineyards located at 390 metri s.l.m. (390 meters above sea level), rooted in a medium-textured soil rich in scisti argillosi (clay schists) and sandstones. This terroir, combined with an altitude that guarantees excellent temperature excursions, grants the Sangiovese a vibrant freshness and a distinct saline note.

Upon tasting, it is an exciting wine, complex and territorial. Notes of small red forest fruits, tarocco orange, and a fascinating finish recalling the Mediterranean scrub emerge. A rosé of carattere (character), full and satisfying. The typical Sangiovese structure is clearly present but balanced by a sharp freshness and a very evident mineral sapidity that cleanses the palate.
