100% Savagnin, sourced from the prestigious "Varron" plot characterized by limestone soils and blue marls, is vinified in the ouillé (topped-up) style, preserving a crystalline freshness that eschews oxidative notes to focus on the purity of the fruit and an authentic representation of the territory.

On the nose, the 2023 vintage offers a taut and elegant bouquet, where stony minerality intertwines with hints of lemon zest, green apple, and a subtle note of wild herbs; on the palate, the sip strikes with its sharp energy and deep sapidity, typical of the domaine's "naked" and uncompromising style, which transforms every glass into a sincere and vibrant narrative of the Jura terroir.

Domaine Buronfosse

Peggy is a farmer with a dominant character, proud of her land, alongside Jean Pascal, her husband and life partner since she was 20. They own 4.6 hectares of vineyards in Rotalier and have a story waiting to be told.

After working in Rotalier with Jean François Ganevat and the Labet family, Peggy managed to find less than one hectare of her own vineyard in 2000, from which she could start her own project. Since then, they haven't stopped for a second to realize their dream: living in nature with bees, horses, vineyards, and a vegetable garden.
