Mansano Vino Bianco
Travo, Piacenza
The gentleness of long maceration
Mansano is an orange that surprises for its finesse and drinkability, a modern and refined interpretation of a grape variety that can give great emotions. A label to be discovered and savored, signed Giulio Armani, a great master in the art of winemaking.
Born from Sauvignon Blanc grapes, a noble and versatile varietal grown on limestone-clay soils on the opposite side of the same hill that gives birth to the famous Denavolo.
Vinified with a 10-month maceration on the skins in steel, this wine expresses all the complexity and depth of Sauvignon Blanc. On the nose, enveloping notes of citrus, white peach and floral notes intertwine with more spicy and mineral nuances, typical of the varietal.
In the mouth, the attack is fresh and savory, with vibrant acidity that perfectly balances the fine, silky tannic structure. A long and persistent sip that leaves a pleasant sensation of freshness and minerality.
