Ciliegia Vino Bianco
Travo, Piacenza
Ciliegia is the result of spontaneous fermentation of white grapes typical of the Colli Piacentini area, with a 3-month maceration on the skins. The vines are 60 years old, planted on calcareous clay soils.
This is a casual and lively orange wine, fresh with incredible citrus notes and a shimmering, multicolored fruity nose. On the palate, there's a beautiful balance between the crisp acidity and a dense, highly enjoyable body. The finish reveals ripe fruit, like mature and juicy nectarine peaches.
