Vinage vintage 2021 is a fresh, fruity red made from 3 native red grape varieties from Piedmont.

Spontaneous fermentation in steel with short maceration and aging also in steel until the following summer. Light body and great drinkability, red cherry and cassis fruit, slightly mentholated, rustic tannins and earthy hints. Gourmand wine from start to finish, great in summer at the right temperature.

Ezio Trinchero

The Trinchero family has owned this winery since the 1920s; we are in Agliano Terme in the province of Asti, and Barbera of the highest quality has always been grown here. Trinchero was the first winery in Italy to produce and market Barbera for long aging, following the intuition to make wines of great complexity and depth with this once underrated grape.

The highly suitable territory certainly helps, as does the fact of working with almost all old vines, as in the case of the "Vigna del Noce" from which the wine of the same name is made, with plants planted in 1929.

Organic work in the field and a lot of care and cleanliness in the cellar create wines with a wide and deep breath. Rarely does one taste Barbera like this!
