Selection of clusters from the old vineyard, a Sangiovese reminiscent of the great wines of the area. In processing it is conceptually close to a Reserve.

The 2015 still looks sunny with very vivid fruit notes an incredible freshness given by a pure acidity that will keep this wine's journey going many more years.

On tasting, the nose is very “classic,” given the use of new and second-passage woods made in that vintage: notes of cherry and plum, vanilla and black pepper. In the mouth the red berry fruits return, notes of tobacco, smokiness and ripe orange. Overall a round, tannic and complex wine that never tires!
