"Puro" Chianti Docg 2022 is made from Sangiovese grapes only.

Vinified and aged in steel, with no added sulfites it is a great drinking version of Sangiovese. Good substance and crispness is an explosion of fruit with ripe cherry and plum in evidence. Fresh, juicy and with good persistence.

We were charmed by the easygoing side of Sangiovese.

Fattoria Lavacchio

Fattoria Lavacchio is located on top of the Montefiesole hills, about 20 km from Florence, in the heart of the Chianti Rufina region.

Founded in 1700, it passed into the hands of the Lottero family in the 1970s and immediately began working in a more natural style, arriving at total organic production in 1978.

The estate has more than one hundred and fifteen hectares, twenty-four of which are dedicated to vineyards and fifty-six to olive groves, while the remainder is dedicated to woods, truffle fields, wheat and vegetable gardens.
