Grape variety: Trebbiano

Vinification: Direct pressing of the grapes, cold decanting of the must to allow impurities in the juice to settle, followed by racking. The must is then left to ferment naturally at a low temperature in stainless steel tanks for about 15 days.

Aging: in steel. Re-fermented with its must

Serving temperature: 8-10° C

The sparkling white "Puro" is made from a selection of Trebbiano, the most characteristic white variety of the area, bottled with fresh must and refermented without disgorging.

We really like this wine because an expression of absolutely genuine Trebbiano. We are struck by the frankness of the aromas and the precision on the palate, which knows no drifts of lees or pastry, which often cover up the real flavors of the grape variety in the refermentation. Here, on the other hand, the fruit comes out overwhelmingly and distinctly: intense, elegant bouquet with notes of grapefruit and medlar, fresh and mineral on the palate, with a pleasant, crisp finish.

This is an easy-drinking wine made for everyone.

Fattoria Lavacchio

Fattoria Lavacchio is located on top of the Montefiesole hills, about 20 km from Florence, in the heart of the Chianti Rufina region.

Founded in 1700, it passed into the hands of the Lottero family in the 1970s and immediately began working in a more natural style, arriving at total organic production in 1978.

The estate has more than one hundred and fifteen hectares, twenty-four of which are dedicated to vineyards and fifty-six to olive groves, while the remainder is dedicated to woods, truffle fields, wheat and vegetable gardens.
