With this Wine Box, we want to propose our idea of elegance in a wine.
We were guided by the immortal piece by Battiato - 'La Cura' , to which we dedicated the name of the Wine Box. Many times, wines are described as 'elegant' in a somewhat confused way: elegance understood as a characteristic of light, thin, and very aromatic wines; someone else confuses elegance (again???) with the sweetness of woody notes; still others think it is a characteristic, or rather a prerogative, of great denominations and nothing more.
In general, the concept of elegance is often misunderstood, a catch-all term for what-we-like-best, giving it different meanings depending on the wine we have in the glass. For us, elegance is a very clear concept: the characteristic of a wine that seduces with a total and satisfying overall balance, where harmony is always dynamic between the various sensations, which, even if very different or in contrast with each other, manage to coexist virtuously. When does a wine manage to do this? When it faithfully represents its territory of origin. And it does so not through the clarity and 'repeatability' of some specific notes or aromas that can be found upon tasting, but thanks to an overall balance of taste, founded on a perfectly recognizable and evident texture, consistency, and substance.
