An experimental wine with great appeal, Tommaso and Agata are among the very few to cultivate this indigenous grape from the province of Cuneo (in Southern Piedmont) called N.. C.., and quite likely the only ones to vinify it as a single-varietal wine.

This variety is almost always grown in multi-varietal vineyards alongside other local grapes like Barbera and Dolcetto. They were very fortunate to find a small vineyard near the winery cultivated exclusively with N.. C.., and for the past three years, they have been producing these grapes to create an excellent and distinctive wine.

In the glass, Bruna is fresh, with notes of red fruits, violet, and subtle herbal and spicy hints. Boasting a light body and bold tannins, it is a food-friendly wine that will win you over from the very first sip.

From the producer

Tommaso Cappa

Tommaso and Agnese—a winemaker and an architect united by their passion for a land they have learned to cultivate and love.

Originally from Turin, in 2020, after gaining knowledge and experience around the world, they decided to start a winemaking project in Dogliani, thanks to a small vineyard of Dolcetto and Barbera. Over the years, step by step, they have grown to produce nearly 10,000 bottles.

For them, wine is an expression of the land that nourishes it and of the work done in the vineyard and the cellar, where they have always engaged in non-invasive farming practices aimed at improving the surrounding habitat and environment.

The "borgata" (hamlet) is located on the Valdibà hill, one of the last hills of Dogliani before entering the Alta Langa, and features three houses and a winery. "We started from a small 40-square-meter cellar; today, we are building a new space for our wines in the hamlet's ancient barn."
