Nebbiolo from a small vineyard located near those of Dolcetto and Barbera, which enriches Tommaso Cappa’s ampelographic collection in Valdibà. Additionally, a portion of the grapes is purchased from a neighboring organic farmer, coming from vineyards that share the same clay-limestone soils at an average altitude of 370 meters above sea level.

Elegant, fresh, and structured, this red wine offers intense and complex aromas typical of the Nebbiolo variety. On the palate, it is elegant and refined, featuring notes of rose, violet, cherry, red fruits, and subtle hints of spice. In the mouth, it is fresh and well-balanced, with fine tannins, a lively acidity, and a good finish.

From the producer

Tommaso Cappa

Tommaso and Agnese—a winemaker and an architect united by their passion for a land they have learned to cultivate and love.

Originally from Turin, in 2020, after gaining knowledge and experience around the world, they decided to start a winemaking project in Dogliani, thanks to a small vineyard of Dolcetto and Barbera. Over the years, step by step, they have grown to produce nearly 10,000 bottles.

For them, wine is an expression of the land that nourishes it and of the work done in the vineyard and the cellar, where they have always engaged in non-invasive farming practices aimed at improving the surrounding habitat and environment.

The "borgata" (hamlet) is located on the Valdibà hill, one of the last hills of Dogliani before entering the Alta Langa, and features three houses and a winery. "We started from a small 40-square-meter cellar; today, we are building a new space for our wines in the hamlet's ancient barn."
