Langhe Rosato 2025 DOC
Dogliani, Cuneo
This Rosato is crafted from summer green harvesting (thinning) in selected plots of the vineyard.
To maintain cool temperatures during fermentation without resorting to artificial control, concrete and amphorae were chosen: breathable materials that stabilize naturally, adding nothing to the wine but perfect balance. The Dolcetto grapes remain in contact with the skins for eight hours—just enough time to extract color and aromas without adding heaviness. The result is an immediate and highly drinkable rosé, with a light sip and a savory finish that invites you to take another glass.
An elegant and refined wine with a delicate fruity note. Floral hints of rose and violet, followed by light spicy and citrus notes. On the palate, it is fresh with a lively acidity. Medium-light body, almost no tannins, and a good savoriness.
Tommaso Cappa
Tommaso and Agnese—a winemaker and an architect united by their passion for a land they have learned to cultivate and love.
Originally from Turin, in 2020, after gaining knowledge and experience around the world, they decided to start a winemaking project in Dogliani, thanks to a small vineyard of Dolcetto and Barbera. Over the years, step by step, they have grown to produce nearly 10,000 bottles.
For them, wine is an expression of the land that nourishes it and of the work done in the vineyard and the cellar, where they have always engaged in non-invasive farming practices aimed at improving the surrounding habitat and environment.
The "borgata" (hamlet) is located on the Valdibà hill, one of the last hills of Dogliani before entering the Alta Langa, and features three houses and a winery. "We started from a small 40-square-meter cellar; today, we are building a new space for our wines in the hamlet's ancient barn."
