Producer: Podere Pradarolo
Indocilis Rose Frizzante 2022
Varano de Melegari, Parma
A sparkling rosé produced entirely from Barbera grapes. This wine originates from the hills of Varano de' Melegari, grown on Cretaceous soils composed of clay, sandstone, and limestone at elevations ranging from 250 to 500 meters.
Short skin contact during spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts gives the wine its rosé hue and textured character. Indocilis Rosato Frizzante is bottled without fining, filtration, or added sulfites: a true "zero-zero" sparkling wine from the heart of the Emilia-Romagna tradition.
Tasting notes: Pale salmon-pink with fine, persistent bubbles. The nose offers hints of wild strawberry, tart cherry, red currant, and citrus zest, with subtle floral undertones. On the palate, it is light and crisp with lively effervescence, bright acidity, flavors of fresh berries, and a clean, dry finish with mineral nuances.

Podere Pradarolo
Podere Pradarolo in Varano de' Melegari is more than just a historic winery in the Emilian landscape; it is the story of a profound bond between man and land, cultivated with passion by Alberto and Claudia in the heart of the Val di Ceno.
"In this corner of the Parma province, our philosophy strips away the superfluous to return to the essential: we manage our vineyards with a strictly organic approach, respecting the rhythms of nature and the soil's biodiversity. Those who step through the doors of the Podere enter an authentic dimension, where hospitality feels like home and every choice — from the recovery of ancient native grape varieties like Termarina to the artisanal care of every row — is guided by the desire to leave a sustainable and sincere mark for future generations."
