Gattaia is a legendary vineyard, set high on the cold slopes of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, literally swallowed by the forest, a place of pure beauty.

The wine has a deep minerality highlighting a respectable body, not surprisingly needing a long aging in cement to mellow. On the palate it is ripe fragrant fruit, with hints of medlar, peach and tea, with lavender and grapefruit zest, quince and salted butter.
